This gathering was our third physical prayer meeting since transitioning from an online church. It felt like a significant anniversary, celebrating our journey and the countless blessings we’ve received.
Theme: “Divine Victory”
Inspired by 1 Corinthians 15:57, the theme “Divine Victory” resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. Pastor Adekunle Adebayo delivered a powerful sermon on the triumph we have in Christ. He emphasized that through God’s grace, we can overcome all obstacles and experience true victory in our lives.
Reflecting on Past Successes
As we gathered to celebrate, we took a moment to reflect on our past successes. Since our inception, The Divine Word Prayer Ministry has been blessed with growth, unity, and unwavering faith. Our transition from an online church to hosting physical gatherings has been a testament to God’s favor and guidance. Each step of the journey has been marked by His grace, from our first physical meeting to the ongoing spiritual growth of our community.
A Day of Celebration and Worship
The atmosphere was electric with joy, gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of community. Members, guests, and newcomers gathered to give thanks and seek divine favor. The celebration was filled with exuberant singing, dancing, and heartfelt prayers. Attendees came from far and wide, including London, Canada, and Nigeria, while others joined us live online, making it a global event.
Putting God First
In everything we do, we put God first. This event was no exception. We dedicated the day to worship, prayer, and thanksgiving, acknowledging that all our successes are due to God’s endless grace. Pastor Adekunle Adebayo reminded us of the importance of seeking God in all aspects of our lives, trusting that He will lead us to victory.
